Art In Grain
Bill Wapenski has always had a lifelong love of music and building things — a natural rhythm that carries into his woodworking. Under the name Art In Grain, Bill transforms discarded and reclaimed wood into one-of-a-kind treasures.
Much of his work begins with what others might see as trash — scraps, broken furniture, or pieces headed for the landfill. But Bill sees possibility in every grain. He studies each piece of wood and asks, “What can I make out of this?” The result is art with character, history, and heart.
Each creation is shaped with care, using a few trusted tools to cut and form the wood before being hand-sanded and finished. Every piece tells a story of renewal — proof that with a little imagination and craftsmanship, even what’s thrown away can become something beautiful again.
