Bob Atkinson

I’ve been painting for nearly three decades, ever since I was first introduced to oil painting by the talented portrait artist Debbie May. I studied with her for several years, and my first decent piece was a portrait of my daughter, Michelle. I also took “life drawing lessons” at Brown University, but for the most part, I am self-taught. Painting has always been a source of relaxation and joy for me, and I hope that same sense of peace and beauty comes through in my work.
